PHP (HMO SNP)
Fourteen years ago, AIDS Healthcare Foundation created PHP (HMO SNP), a Medicare Advantage health plan with prescription drug coverage, just for people who have HIV. When you join PHP, you get a Medicare HIV specialty plan with more benefits than Original Medicare and many other Medicare Advantage plans for no premium and no copays for most medical services.
Our plan includes the support and backing of an experienced care team that makes sure you get the treatment and services you need when you need them. PHP includes many extra benefits like dental, vision, transportation, a gym membership or over-the-counter pharmacy items, and more. PHP is available to Medicare beneficiaries who have Medicare Parts A and B, have HIV and live in Los Angeles County, California. PHP is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in PHP depends on contract renewal.
PHC California
PHC California is a Medi-Cal managed care plan for Medi-Cal recipients who live in Los Angeles County and have a prior AIDS diagnosis. PHC California is the first AIDS special needs plan in the country and has served its members since 1995. PHC California provides its members more benefits than regular Medi-Cal.
PHP (HMO SNP)
PHP is a health plan for Medicare beneficiaries who have Medicare Parts A and B, have HIV, and live in Duval, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties. PHP is the first HIV-specific health plan approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This plan covers routine doctor and specialist office visits, emergency and urgent care, hospitalization, and more. It also includes a prescription drug benefit for no monthly premium. PHP is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in PHP depends on contract renewal.
